Stephanie McCarty

Stephanie followed a long line of relatives in the business, her mom, a cousin, an uncle and others. She was a paralegal at top law firms in several states while her husband was frequently relocated in his work. As a paralegal, Stephanie learned that careful attention to details are important and that a client's success or failure may often depend on the small things. Stephanie followed her mother's successful career in real estate, moving back to the Atlanta area from Knoxville, TN with her family in 2001. She has been a full time REALTOR since August 2000. Even through the recession, Stephanie remained full time in the business so that she could continue to provide her clients with the best service and attention to the details that are important to the success of their real estate transaction. Hard work and long hours, but making great lifelong friends along the way. Stephanie's son Alex obtained his real estate license and began working with her in 2015, continuing the family tradition of service to others.

Alex McCarty

Alex grew up listening to his mom talk about the great people that she has assisted in the home buying or selling process over the years.   He understood that helping them realize their dreams was very fulfilling.  Stephanie's business began to take off in 2010 and by 2015 it was clear that she was probably going to need to hire either another agent or full time admin.  Alex attended University of North Georgia, began working with the Home Depot and quickly realized that retail was not going to be his calling.  That's when the two of them talked about Alex getting his license and assisting his mom on what started out as a temporary basis. 
Fast forward to 2019 and the McCarty Homes Team is still going strong.  In fact, they just celebrated being awarded the President's Circle Award by the franchise, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices for their sales production in 2018, achieving a level that only 4% of agents worldwide are able to achieve.
Alex enjoys meeting new people and helping them find the perfect place to call home for the  next phase of their lives, while helping them navigate the process with as little stress and inconvenience as possible.
